According to reports, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are spending over $500,000 monthly to reside at Kenny G’s Malibu home.
As per a report from TMZ, the 59-year-old Amazon founder and the 53-year-old former news anchor are paying a monthly rent of $600,000 to the renowned 66-year-old saxophonist for the lease of his 5,500-square-foot house in Malibu.
The property, featuring a spacious backyard, pool, screening room, recording studio, and a 3,500-square-foot guesthouse, was reportedly unfurnished. Consequently, Bezos and Sánchez had to allocate extra funds to furnish the interior of the estate.

As per the report, the recently engaged couple has been residing at the property since March, except for the times when they are sailing across the Mediterranean Sea on their $500 million mega-yacht.
When contacted for comment or confirmation regarding the rental price, representatives for Bezos did not respond immediately to Page Six’s request.
Nevertheless, for the third wealthiest person globally, shelling out $7.2 million annually in rent would be insignificant.

With a reported net worth exceeding $142 billion, Bezos has apparently dedicated $175 million of his fortune to acquire a new home alongside Sánchez.
The ongoing construction of their lavish estate, spanning 10 acres in Beverly Hills, California, coincides with their globetrotting adventures and temporary stay at Kenny G’s luxurious residence.
The opulent property boasts several notable features, including a guesthouse, a gym, a pergola, and a separate house designated for security purposes.

In 2020, Bezos acquired the Beverly Hills property and he also possesses the neighboring $10 million home.
Moreover, he recently made a significant dent in his wallet of approximately $2.5 million by presenting his new fiancée with a dazzling 20-carat diamond ring as a proposal gesture.
According to an exclusive report from Page Six, Bezos proposed to Sánchez earlier this month, marking the culmination of their five-year relationship.

The couple has not made any statements regarding their wedding arrangements or the possibility of a prenuptial agreement. However, considering Bezos’s previous divorce settlement with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Bezos, which reportedly amounted to $38 billion without a prenup, it is expected that he will propose a prenuptial agreement to his future wife.
According to an attorney who exclusively spoke to Page Six, Sánchez could potentially receive at least $1 million for each year of their marriage and a multimillion-dollar property as part of such an agreement.
